Curriculum in Indonesia has been progressing since the period before the year 1945 to the curriculum in 2006 which is valid until the end of 2012. Substitution curriculum aims to improve the quality of the learning process and the design of learning in school. According to some experts, the curriculum changes from time to time, both in Indonesia and in other countries, due to the needs of people who every year are always evolving and the demands of the times are likely to change. Curriculum development is considered as a determinant of the future of the nation. Therefore, a good curriculum will be expected to be implemented in Indonesia that will produce future bright nation that has implications for the progress of the nation and the state.

With the new curriculum is the curriculum in 2013, hoping with this new curriculum will be able to answer about the failures that occurred in the previous curriculum, it turns on the application there are some weaknesses in value by some teachers who said that 2013 is a centralized curriculum that can not support their interests, talents, and learning needs of each student, because of interests, talents, and learning needs of each student is different. There may be similarities when the curriculum was implemented in the elementary school, because the same needed at elementary school.
